Below, I have written out some fun context and info about my 2 of my most recently released projects. It's now been a few years since they released, and though as time goes on I feel they represent me As An Artist less and less, I'm still very proud of both of them! I'm very much looking forward to sharing my next project that I've been working on over the course of the last year, and I hope that you will anticipate it's release.
(23) I FEEL YOU EVERYWHERE is an experimental folk-pop album released on 2/3/23. At release it was featured on the bandcamp homepage, wow!! I have received consistent requests to produce a physical version of this album so if you're a label and want to help with that, hit me up :]

I wrote this album primarily from the ages of 21 to 22, with a few older songs from my teenage years remade and recontextualized inside its narrative. Around the time I started developing it I was just beginning to emerge from a protracted psychotic episode, and writing it was instrumental in helping me find ways to aim my superstitious and paranoid nature in more helpful directions. For this reason it's very focused on grounding imagery, my faith, and speaking peace into existence. For the same reasons, it's also symbolically dense to an almost ridiculous level, I was really really obsessed with and committed to creating as many synchronistic elements as possible, both inside the music and outside of it.
Part of my intent with this album was to synthesize and put all of my restless previous selves and aliases to bed, and to attempt to create an ending for the current alias "Elora Driver". As with all of my work, it's very easy to look back and think about little things I could have done differently, particularly in the recording execution of this to make it live up to my own current standards, but I try to avoid this pattern of thought. This is an album that will always be special to me, because I made it for every version of myself that will ever exist, and it continues to reveal itself to me as the years go by. Her number may have taken a backseat in my life as I continued to grow and find myself in eclectic religious practice, but with that magical quality of all art this laden with intent, this album has grown with me. and I still feel you everywhere!

AUTO HYMN is a digicore noise-pop album by ANGEL_TECH released on 2/4/24. ANGEL_TECH is my joint music project with the multitalented musical genius Melanie Fangz, and for this album she really let me take the wheel and supported my vision. Thank you Melanie!!
After finishing the extended grounding ritual of writing and recording (23) IFYE, I felt a bit marred by isolated overthinking and perfectionism; I wanted desperately to make music more impulsively, and to experiment more with collaboration. Though I initially thought I might take a break from music for a while, AUTO HYMN quickly started to take shape against my will as an expression spoken by a channeled, unrepressed, and guttural persona from my subconscious, desperate to communicate my relationship to the world, my art, my body, and to synthesize all of the contradictory truth of faith and disorder that I found myself able to deeply feel.
It has now been almost 2 years since this album released, and it seems to mean something to other people too which makes me so happy! (NSFW Warning on this link.) I had plans to record a full album music video and to try to release physical copies of it, but this became more complex to execute as I added more collaborators and would want to include them in the video in order to "do it right". In the end, I recorded a one take music video for the first half of the album and I feel that it was meant to be exactly that way.
If you're curious, feel free to check out my other releases listed below in the page log! but DISCLAIMER: this list goes all the way back to some albums I started putting together when I was as young as 15, so needless to say my attitudes and perspectives have evolved quite a bit. Regardless, I hope you will enjoy listening to my music and I hope that it will speak to you where you are :)
